Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge was established in 1901 and houses more than 556 species that were in danger of extinction. Visitors can enjoy watching the wildlife, hunting and fishing.
The Oklahoma City zoo animals as well as a VIP safari tour, rides and attractions, and a zoo museum. It is the perfect place to visit for the whole family.
Bath Lake formed in the 1920's as the towns swimming hole. It is located in the center of downtown Medicine Park. It has beautiful water falls, plenty of both shallow an deep areas. You can swim, float or wade. Fee is $3.00 per person for swimming over the age of 5. Open 7 days a week starting Memorial day weekend through Labor day. 10 a.m. -8:00 p.m.
Medicine Park Aquarium and natural science center
The Medicine Park aquarium and natural sciences center is an 8-acre site showing-casing exotic fresh water and marine displays. The 8 galleries housing a variety of fish. The center is located at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. You can stroll through the butterfly and wildflower gardens. Watch the electric eel feeding demonstration, feed the turtles at turtle town, visit the river otters exhibit. It is an exciting experience for the whole family.
Holy City of The Wichitas
The center is located at the foothills of the A must see the Holy City of The Wichitas. LocaWted in Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. this 66-acre area looks like Isreal during Biblical times, and is the site of the site of the nations Longest Easter running Play held yearly. Other attractions include a memorial for the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing, a veterans walkway and the world chapel, which has become a popular wedding locale. donations appreciated

Mount scott
Located In the Wichita Mountains Wild life refuge. The road leading to Mount Scott is currently closed to vehicle traffic, however visitors are still able to walk, run or bike to the summit. Located on the eastern edge of the Wichita Mountains Wild life refuge. A three-mile-long paved road leads to the summit, a breath taking view of southwest Oklahoma. The peak towers 2,464 feet above sea level. Don't forget to bring your camera to snap photos of the beautiful views up the mountain and from the top of Mt. Scott.

Lake Lawtonka
Lake Lawtonka is just minutes from Medicine Park. The lake is two square miles.It is great for swimming, boating, fishing and a variety of water sports. There is over night camp sites, picinic facilities, hot showers and bathrooms on site. The marina has a grocery and gas station close by, There is a swimming beach. The lake offers some beautiful views of the mountains. The lake is an excellent small mouth bass location. Boat ramps and docks allow access to the lake at various points .
